Loneliness Poem by Santanu Karmakar

Sad and Lonelyness was my friend
There was no one to put that to end
But I had to wear a mask of smile
To hide my dreary face for a while

There was a time when I had many friends
Happy I was like just all of them
But deep inside I used to feel hollow
I missed something of myself
which no one ever could follow

Behind all of the happiness I showed
There were tears
Behind all of the braveness you knowed
there were fears.
