Living Life's Extremes Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Living Life's Extremes

Living life in its extremes through the years, dealing
with the hardships, sacrifices and painstaking futility
of just being human.

Love never seeming to be unconditional for human beings
are fickle, many times judgmental, making one feel like
they're nothing in this life.

Having hearts broken and torn from within, why some people
are so fastidiously cruel and abusive to those they say
they love.

Their actions show just the opposite message to them,
kicking aside their manners and love just to abuse those
who don't deserve to be treated this way.

Wishing at times that you could just wave a magic wand
and "poof" they either are gone for good or changed into
another frame of mind - one filled with goodness.
