Little Angel Poem by Aswathi Asok

Little Angel

Rating: 5.0

While she was walking along the street
There was a crowd beside the road
It looks like a flocks of sheep
She was so curious to know about it,
Just walked near to the group
But nothing was visible on account of people
Heard only a whisper from inside the circle
Yes, there was somebody who was old
Just she asked to the man who stood at back
He gave her a funny smile and a giggle
She was ashamed by his careless reply,
Tried to walk inside the round
Shocked when she saw the stranger
Someone was lying down the muddy floor
Looked like a beggar man.
All were hesitated to give him hand
But she lifted him up with her tiny hand and
Wrapped him by her covering towel.
No one knows who is she?
But, the old man called her 'little angel''.

'Tis a good composition with a story of humanity.... Humanity dies nowadays but all must be gathering in front of Him on that day of Judgement where we will be counted for the deeds we have done here.... Thanks for sharing this simple /elegant poem... It made me to think for a while... Top marks! ! !
