Dog owners, could you please be more kind?
For a lot of dog droppings I find
Here and there on my lawn
So I'm up with the dawn
With my scooper and pail; what a grind!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Inspired by Kelly Kurt's limerick with the same title. When I first saw his title, I expected his limerick to be somewhat like this. It's not. His is very different and very good!

Thanks, Kelly!

I read first Mr. Kurt's limerick and then yours. Both are very well composed.

My sympathy and my rating of ten on a very good limerick.

Tee Hee. Excellent limerick on a social issue of inconsideration. It is a good thing your neighbors don't own elephants that hop.: -)
