Lilacs And Saints Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Lilacs And Saints

Cast upon the shoreline
Waves of Venus
A bottle on the ground
Hostility rises like a fallen angel
Serenade the political fickle
Spring recites it's eternal verse
Perfect emblems like flower pedals

I am the color of many waters
Grateful for the stranger's dime
Peace is illusive yet basic
No one to please no one to lie too
Tension on the strings
Covers of botany with green ribbons
Creativity knows no age

Wombs are tempting seas
Life is the current of eternity
Despair is in fashion
Walk the amber wisdom of Walden
Smile like a robins song
Survival is always the soul
Home is the old clock working again

There in the mirror is a classic painting
Her Irish humor makes me laugh
Love is a little girl wet in the rain
Soon the sun will rise like a golden rule
Sleep awakens my storms
I love the tide rolling like an angel
Lilacs and saints grow in the wild tempest
