Life Worth Living Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

Life Worth Living

If I could feed the hungry,
If I could clothe the naked,
If I could shelter the homeless,
If I could love the loveless,
If I could serve the ailing,
If I could comfort the aching,
And if I could stop hearts from breaking,
I shall not be living life worthless,
I shall not sit complacent,
Until I see smiles on face,
And I shall be making mistakes,
If I measure in money the services,
And expect in return only molasses,
What needed, is selfless services,
And dedication of life to lifeless,
Then only I shall be composing,
A great poem to my sacred flesh……….
