Life Of Less Poem by Matt Burgett

Life Of Less

A lack of dancing, raving, and moshing
Every other Saturday night
Living the life of no adrenalin
Has taken away the fight

I less dance nor pierce
Nor ever ever sing
But work away every single day
to bring you home a diamond ring

To bring in cash
So I can support
The love of you
So that you're not poor

But I am still young
And it is fading fast
As you can see
My body's not likely for long to last

I'm not ready
At least not yet
To be all settled down
With a house and pets

I want to dance rave and mosh
Before I settle down
So I can look back at my life
And go oh holy cow

I want look back and see
That throughout all of my days
I lived it to the fullest
In the very best of ways

I want to have partied so very much
Say the times were of the best
I want my life as that
And not a life of a little less
