Life Is This Passage

The days go by
One by one
The longing for the past
For Youth that never was
And Youth that was
Though I did not know it or feel it
Is part of the sadness and regret
Old age cannot make die-
Life is a going one way
And we ourselves are only this passage
From one time to another
To no time at all
Unless G-d saves us.
