Life Poem by Derek Threadgill

Life

Get a knife, to end my life.
Try a noose, and hang loose.
Drown in gin, is that a sin.
Climb on a ridge, jump from a bridge.
Take some pills, forget the bills.
Too much strife, just to end ones life.
Too much thinking, just when I'm sinking.
I got it, I know what to do.
To end this life.
I'll get me a wife.
