Let Us Pray Poem by Aaron Waingrow

Let Us Pray

Our spirits grow hungry in the world tonight
No relief to be seen
A world in desperation,
And it looks like satan's king.

All Christians on their knees arms reaching up they cried
Couldn't do it alone, Heaven knows we tried!

Don't let satan in, don't let satan see
Be the Christian you're always called to be
Stand here, don't fear, don't let God go
Well, now we know!

Let us pray, let us pray,
To our Lord and God above
Let us pray, let us pray,
He can show us perfect Love

We don't care
What they're going to say
Let the battle rage on,
devil never wins the war anyway!

It's funny how our Bible
Makes evil seem so small
The demons that once consumed us
Can not hurt us at all!

We limit what our God can do
He forgives, Christ died for you to
Do right, not wrong, from our sin we are free!

Let us pray, let us pray,
To our Lord and God above
Let us pray, let us pray,
He can show us perfect Love

Here we stand
And here we'll pray
Let the battle rage on,

Our God's power fills the air with booming sound
The Holy Spirit fills us from our heads down to the ground
The sinful chains around us breaking off at last
We are not going back,
Our sins are in the past!

Let us pray, let us pray,
To our Lord and God above
Let us pray, let us pray,
He can show us perfect Love

Here we stand
In His light we pray
Let the battle rage on,
devil never wins the war anyway!
