Let Me Inhale And Exhale Poem by Hebert Logerie

Let Me Inhale And Exhale

Let me remove my mask
So I can inhale and exhale
Lady, I'm out of breath. Ask
Me why? ‘Cause you're so belle
So darn beautiful that I almost
Passed out. You have the most
Interesting smile when you are
Having fun and you're not at war
With someone who steals your pen
When you're moody, the weapon
Is present in your face; you frown
That's a sign that a stupid clown
Must stay away from you, at bay
This isn't the right time to play
Baby, let me inhale and exhale
Because you're smiling with me
I'm a lucky prisoner out on bail
At your sight, I am very happy
Darling, I am out of breath. Ask
Me why? You removed your mask
You are the most gorgeous woman
That I've ever seen near the garden.
