Let me be there for you on every day
or whenever a problem comes your way.
Let me offer a shoulder to cry on.
Let me be someone that you can rely on.

Let me be one to quiet your fears.
Allow me to help to dry your tears.
For each of us needs someone to talk to
when you’re at your wit’s end about what to do.

Don’t be the one with too much pride
who cries alone and dies inside.
And if it be I with troubles to bear,
let me know that you’ll always be there.
