Legal and illegal

For long and very long
-man has been aware of
-the herbs and narcotics
-like opium and Hashish…

We acted as do herds in graze
We consumed, rejected…

This was on till came law
-to spit: "Is legal, illegal! "

Law made the excuse
- "Is, is not scientific! "
- "Not allowed; is crime! "

Heroine was made for
-bronchitis, flue, cold.
-New York became wild
-found it best; fell in love!

Law came with its pants down
-thanks to dumb and corrupt
-in firms of medical and legal!

You and I who knew
-selecting right and wrong
-become reined, leashed, muzzled
-forced into stables… animals, brainless.

Game went on and goes on:
- "Is legal! ", "Illegal! "
-patients face courts and judge
-some are led behind bars…
-many held in madhouse…

Suddenly law changes:
- "Legal is marijuana! "

What the hell can name "Law"?
What the "F" is legal, illegal?
What are we; the mankind?
