Legal Swamp Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Legal Swamp

Legal swamp

He is a professional
He is in front of the counter
He is well aware of the path
He holds a bundle of tickets
(Parking; Fines)
He has tennis racket, sport bag

He works
He is a middle man
He uses his mind, little time
He is aware of the laws
He corrupts and ignores the law
He is legal; legally works illegal

He fights the tickets; causes backlog
His clients are informed
The court time may never come
He lives by pissing in the law
He, then, stirs the chemical
He is the creator of swamp.
