Left To Greet Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Left To Greet

We are thankless
On earth's face
We regret no action
But spoil the relation

Nature was our best friend
Always provided trend
To be friendly and congenial
But more has to be offered with denial

We did reverse
To earn curse
Birds have become extinct
No where you may find any nest

Deforestation is heavy
Wild animals are now scary
We take their heavy toll
They are now behind zoo's wall

The day is not far
When we will be able to see stars
The satellites may clash in orbit
What else shall be left to greet?

We regret the action but spoil the relation. Really wonderfully realized the true aspect behind this poem. The day is not far we can greet of course. Beautiful.
