Leave Me Poem by Trey Mitchell

Leave Me

Leave me then
For the place that makes you happy
Don't worry as I cry

Leave me again
I'll watch you go
Don't think about me when I die

Leave me now
I can't watch your misery
Don't listen to my heart-pained sigh

Leave me here
I'll always stand where I have stood
I am fine I can lie

Leave me forever
If a smile may be brought to your face
Don't think about it when I say I love you, and don't ask why
I allow this for you, even if it means on the inside I will die

Resigned to fate. Rather sad. Nice read. Baru Gobira
