Blue In Another View Poem by Trey Mitchell

Blue In Another View

Blue, I see the sky, you see a storm
Blue, I see a river, you see a frozen form
Blue, I hear the rain's rhythm, you hear a poem
Blue, what I smell as salt, you smell as foam
Blue, I see a well but, what you see is a prison cell
Blue, I taste sweet berries, you add a sweetened cream
I hear the roar of the waterfall, you hear the watery scream
Blue, I say warm, but you feel cool
Blue, I say the seasons, you stop and say something that startles me
It doesn't matter as long as you are with me
