Late June Poem by W.I. Stoneberger

Late June

Rating: 5.0

Summer oozed
from the night sky
leaving behind
sweat-slick stains
on the morning sheets.

Heat dripped
from the crevices
pooling into puddles
of perspiration
of possibility.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I love the alliteration throughout and the vividness of your words. 'Summer oozed from the sky' captured me from the start. Loved it! 10 Karin Anderson
