Last Lullaby Poem by Alex McCullough

Last Lullaby

Let this cooling light,
Speak to you like the silent wind,
My heart only beats on,
Until it's expired.
Choose to come disappear,
Within this hall of wishes,
And I shall care for you,
Even once the moon's stolen my final breath,
Mixing it away into the night.
Choose any music you desire,
And I shall sing it for you,
Using up the last grain of my time,
Just to please your need,
Because that is my only goal,
To grant you a moment of happiness.
