Las Ventanas Poem by Nika McGuin

Las Ventanas

Rating: 0.5

7: 00pm en México
mark the hour
when the sun sets
throngs of windows,
go from 'noche' dark
to 'estrella' bright
interchanging selves,
exchanging loot with day
until people watchers
become people watched
and close their blinds
rebelling against change
