Languid Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Languid

Languid

Came to door
But full of pretence
Did not mean to talk, say
Of last night, what happened.

Her eyes were revealing
The stored in hiding!

Last night she
Must have been
Alone or accompanied
With few of friends…

Drank much to have fun;
That I see in her eyes
Tango-dance, alcohol's
Vapour with the drops…

Ciphered in her forehead
As mirror to her brain:
"Let world be in flood! "

Her manner languid
Messages in her eyes:
"Relax and disincline."

Her words were not many
But still inviting friendship
Between the occupant of Earth, Seas.

Not feeble, faint or sick
Instead a painting: "Go easy."

Physically, less active
Moved slow, sluggish
And in her behaviours
Listless were lethargic!

What made her like Barbie
Were moving, conversing
In Sun-Dust…rehearsing…
