Laborer Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Laborer

Fruit

The mangoes, papayas and the grapes too.
They were loaded with natural sugar.
My bowl was replete with
Fiber feast.

But the fruits of my labor
Tasted sweeter.
For that I labored
And labored.
