Kings Of Arakan Poem by gershon hepner

Kings Of Arakan

The kings of Arakan, in ancient Burma,
would make their concubines stand in the heat,
to find which one would of them would make them firmer
when smelling them, their sweat his favorite treat,
together with the other body odors
that they’d emit when drenched by midday sun.
The lucky winners, in the kings pagodas
would boast about the smell test they had won.
