Key To Success Poem by Simon Samuda

Key To Success

Do you have good values,
Do money and success define you,
Are ethics a big deal,
Would you lie and steal.

What are your fears,
What are your biases and prejudices,
What are your beliefs,
What are your defining philosophies.

Are you fundamentally okay,
Are you a person to be trusted,
Do you wear a social mask,
Are you always trying to be accepted.

This is the key to success.

You must have a vision.
You must make a decision,
Keep it to yourself,
Or suffer derision.

Those who cannot achieve,
Try to make you disbelieve,
In yourself by stealth,
They pretend to be your friend.

Never give up,
Always persist.
Success without risks,
Does not exist.

It is harder to fail,
Than it is to succeed.
You better believe,
This you will never read,

It takes a tremendous effort,
And hard work to fail,
One has to work hard,
On doing the wrong thing.

Set goals, have a focus,
Take one step at a time,
Most of all,
Have a positive mind.

It does not matter,
If you are deaf dumb or blind,
Success can come,
To all mankind.
