Justice delayed again

The whole of the country witnessed
the real drama when the supreme court opened the hearing
the lawyers were braced withthe arguments
it was really tactful movement

the lawyer questioned about the presence of the judge
who was once upon the lawyer of the former chief minister
the lawyer was arguing on behalf of an appellant
"he can't be part of the bench" he presented

the chief justice of India conferred with the other judges
he heard with apt attention
the sitting judge then withdrew from the bench
the ploy proved so tactful

the purpose was served
the delayed tactic was observed
the court gave another date for the hearing
the public was getting impatient

it assumes great significance
when the court fails in its stance
why was this not checked before the date was fixed?
the hearing was postponed and the judge was axed
