Just To Write
Maybe the time has come
To just want to live
To forget about the writing and the name and the recognition and thegreatness
To write not for publication and not for posting
And not for anyone else at all
Just to write
Because I am used to writing
And have been writing for years
And enjoy writing
To forget about ‘being a writer'
And just write
Write for pleasure for meaning for remembrance
For so many other things
Writing can give-
Just to live my life
The best way I can
Until the end.

Some need writing as much as the air they breath. Although, in life, each one also choses their own drug. If writing or any other artistic expression is your vice All the better, at least you life has some meaning even if only for yourself. Great poem, as usual, and for poets very well, understood and felt.
