Just Inside The Shadows
Meeting in the long ago
constant and sincere
Standing in the shadows
Waiting for to hear
Approached you in the morning
just before the early dawn
Again in the evening
when the dew had left the lawn
You have always been there
emotions to fulfill
Standing in the shadows
you have and always will.
The dim lights of dawn and dusk keep away the bright sunlight of the present. Shadow of conscious is not visible and then sub-conscious shadows of past rule the thoughts and the sentiments surrender to the sweet memories of love.
Heather is it prayer that we do morning and evening and remember the past with tears and smile..very touchy poem :) thank you
