Just Don't Poem by Randy McClave

Just Don't

Don't hate someone
Because someone wants you to hate them,
Don't dislike anyone
Because someone wants you to dislike them.
What has that someone done to you,
Did they not help you when you needed them to.

Don't ignore a person
Because someone wants you to,
Don't talk about any person
Because someone tells you to.
If they are wanting you to ignore and talk about them,
Your life will become sad and grim.

Don't forget an individual
Because one day that individual could be you,
Don't lie about an individual
Because would you want anyone to lie about you.
One day in your need or prayer,
That one individual might be the one who does care.

Don't ever curse a soul
Because you are told that you can,
Don't ever go silent on a soul
Because you are told you must and you can.
Remember one day you will meet again
And you will be remembered and judged for sin.

Strong and deeply moving, very affirmative poem. Thanks for the positive advice.
