Promise me that one day
you will meet me at the portcullis of heaven
As I would- do you;
For life on this earth is not befitting enough to
attune to a love as noble as ours

Promise me that one day
you will woo me in the land of milk and honey
As I would -do you;
For this world has got no delights suitable enough to
ravish a love as exotic as ours

Promise me that one day
you will doll me up with blooms from Eden
As I would-do you;
For this lodging has not a single posy suitable enough to
embellish a love as unique as ours

Promise me that one day
you will kiss me and hold me all through forever land
As I would - do you;
For this dwelling has concealed all paths that could
seal a love as passionate as ours

Promise me that one day
you will make me your mate in blissful paradise
As I would - do you;
For then my love, seek guidance as I ask the Almighty
to sanctify this divine love of ours
