Judgement Day Will Rule Poem by suzan gumush

Judgement Day Will Rule

Rating: 5.0

He who defies god
Must ask himself
Why is he here!
Why is he existing
Why has mankind
Being let loose
To run riot
And challenge his cause
Why has he been given
The freedom to explore
To think... To act
To learn, , , To kill
To love... To hate
To battle...To wage war
Let it be known
Whatever your fact
Life is no great act
We come as a pact
Put into sections
There are those who attract
To the left
And those who attract to the right
Whichever path you choose
Know judgement day
Accounts for the life you lead
And for the sins you bleed
This isn't where your life will end
It's just the begining
Only the faithful will ascend
As for the rest
This is where your
Life will end
Full stop!

Suzan, Full Stop? - - - Well, what about the answers to those questions? Let me know when you come up with them! I think that the ones that claim to know, are the ones to keep your eyes on! B.V.A.

'Love God with all your might and strength, and your neighbor as you would yourself. By your Faith ye shall be known, as demonstrated by your good works.' Not my words, but His. Thanks for the thoughts in this poem. Best regards, Jon

Suzan, I agree with Doc.Your poem is both strong and meaningful.Everyone has the right to express their faith as they see it.Isnt it great that we can communicate world wide and talk things over.We are normal people who love the world and poetry.Far better that tearing each other to bits. By the way dont worry about smart remarks from some readers about punctuation grammar etc.I cant speak or understand a word of Greek or Turkish.Bill Shakespeare didnt get it right every time either. Regards, Sid John

Interesting Suzan. Is it to 'kill' or is it to 'murder'? Murder in the name of religion, has taken more lives than anything else in history. What if one was to kill in self-defense? I wonder. Later...Joshua.
