Joke Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Joke

I ran after you,
At such great speed,
I ran circles around you then.
And you laughed and laughed.

I danced with you,
In such a rhythm.
I held your hands,
And swung them.

I beckoned you to come with me,
Till I made you move in dance.
Till I sang in tune!

But after that I laughed too loud,
Jumped and quickly rannnnn away.
