It Occurred To Me Poem by Vera Sidhwa

It Occurred To Me

It Occurred to Me

I was one small point,
In eternity.
It occurred to me,
So fast.

I felt aimless,
And useless,
In the vastness,
Of the stellar dust.

I only measured myself,
Against the largeness of life,
And felt offended,
And no one defended.

I then explored me.
I could now see.
That the stellar dust,
Was just as vast inside of me.
