Once so vibrant, now reposed,
It hurts to remember, how you once was.
So beautiful and so smart,
Full of laughter and such a good heart.
You had so much to offer, so much to give,
You had a life, many wished they could live.
But then it was snuffed out and far too soon,
And all our tears formed an immense typhoon,
So full of devastation and sadness,
It wiped out and gutted everything in sight.
It still leaves many crying out at night.
It seems so unfair and so wrong,
You were so vibrant and so strong,
And your future... was so full of promise,
That we are all now a Doubting Thomas.
