Is there ever a good way
To tell someone goodbye
I wish that I knew it
So I could give it a try

If you've been with someone
For a very long time
I'm sure that it's hard to do
As it weighs upon your mind

Your searching for the right words
But they are hard to find
Now matter what you say
Your words may still sound unkind

Is there ever a good time
To tell someone goodbye
You know someone will be hurt
Someone may even cry
