Iron Seams Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Iron Seams

Rating: 4.5

The miles and miles of unfeasible dreams
Attempt to drain and dismantle our hope.
Fear forges a drought that conflicts the gleam
Of strengthened love that's managed to cope.
But with compassion in undying stores,
That are still driven deep within our veins
Have naught but the inverse of ashen cores,
So an unbeatable hope now sustains.
For daunting hardships are no coffin nail
When applied to this quest of devotion,
As lovers' faith nor strength shall ever quail
And instead will prevail with emotions.
As love for you're presumed to pay a toll,
Love linked by iron seams to dwell in souls.

A good write though I'd agree with Mark, the point or story seems kinda hidden behind the metaphors. With that said the language is great.

Your main point may be a little too abstract for the unenilghtened reader. Try to speak a little plainer. Metaphores and allusions are good, but not if they lose the reader.
