Intoxicated Poem by jyoti saxena

Intoxicated

Rating: 5.0

People take marijuana
and sugars hard
I realize it is high time
I too played my part.
I chose you
- my drug!
What better way
to stay intoxicated
No health hazards
no damages
I need u day and night
Am addicted to you
Yes, that is right
You are my seasons
You are my delight
My hallucinations
And that bright light!
No matter what they say
What obstacles
in my path they lay
I am gonna stay alive
O Krishna!
Your Meera will surely survive!

You are my seasons You are my delight My hallucinations And that bright light! ........ .love burns brilliant as when intoxicated heart seems to glow swooning the sorrow..........what a wonderful concept of intoxication as one needs to swoon sorrow by the necessity, inventing the new innovative, wonderfully curved by the craving of man as when unreaching the desire, yet mind needs intoxication to get relief of pain acute, seemingly divine way to redemption from earthly need as Myrabai to lord Krishna, most ingenious in its theme, texture and diction,10++++, thanks for sharing

Always good and comforting to stay intoxticated with God! I had written -'Say No To Drugs', - a year back! Best Wishes, - Raj Nandy

At first I thought you took to poetry for intoxication, atlast I realised you mean Krishna........Yet, you should be very cautious, Krishna is very mischievous and cunning, he will not be there when you need him, playing hide and seek......but drugs always give the desired effect.
