Into The Void Poem by robert ortiz

Into The Void

Standing in a field of clovers
Knowing nothing is as before
There can be no dejavu’
When the view is never the same
Tired of the man in the mirror
Never with a single smile
Don’t want to wake from another sleepless night
Into the void
When I wake up in the morning
From the bed that I have slumber
I free myself from the spell I’m under
Into the void
Standing on the edge by the water
Watching the time take away the tide
Quickly running through life
At a very slow pace
Always surrounded by people
But still always alone
And we all heard about the story
Of once upon a time
Into the void
When I wake up in the morning
From the bed that I have slumbered
I free myself from the spell I’m under
Into the void
