Intimate Talk Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Intimate Talk

Intimate talk

"And, so, what? "
-asked the dog.

She wore shoes on her paws
-colorful, red and white.

Around her, jacket, tight.

Had two horns as décor
-mimicking reindeer.

When played in snow
-hopped and jumped;
-and stopped,
-let steam
-nostrils'
-add to fogs and cloud!

Then half bent her hind legs
-peed to side.

Games again and the same
-till came time for final
-defecate…

"Tell me who must be reined? "
-dog looked at her master
"You or I? "

In her eyes screen full of words
-poets could read her talk
-silently and polite:
- "Do your job; "
- "You deserve what you got! "

Dog looked at master's bag
- (filled with the…)
- "Your turn is too near
-to wear leash and muzzle."

And dog walked Royal-like.
