Inspiration Poem by Flying Lemming

What inspires us
Who do we inspire
What is it that makes us have the push to aim much higher

Some poeple say it's greed, a search for money and treasure
That makes some stretch their skills or talents beyond measure

Or is it fame that drives us all
To get our names up on the wall
So we can go to friends from school
And feel so smug, important and tall

This may be true to some who write
Could be what keeps their eyes alight
And powers them right through the night, to them it is worthwhile

But as far as i can say
What keeps me going on my way
Is knowing that someone, someday, will read these words and smile
