In Your Eyes Poem by Mark Fahmy

In Your Eyes

I lost myself in your eyes
Lost my very own existence
Lost the pieces that tied me to my past

Drowning in your ocean so deep
Waters so clear
Like a fortune-teller's crystal ball

Flames from my heart propagating through the mighty depths
Fire & water in perfect harmony
As love mutates my leaping soul
into a special piece of puzzle
that only fits your delicate soul

So much lost
So much found
As the past lies in frost
And darkness finally bound

Light,
You're my only torch
The hollow pupils of your eyes are where my heart lies
Let me sink further into your vast ocean
Lack of air is not why a man dies
For immortality lies here
All in your eyes.
