It Wasn't Me Poem by Mark Fahmy

It Wasn't Me

It wasn't me
It wasn't me you used to see
I wasn't there
I wasn't in the moments we used to share

It wasn't me
Maybe it was he
Or maybe some other guy
Whoever it was, it wasn't I

It wasn't me
the one who loved her she
the one who surrendered to her pretty eyes
the one who calmed her cries

It wasn't me
I wasn't still free

..Now grab your cup of tea
And let me introduce me.
