Wedding ring on the night stand now covered in dust
Along with the pictures of us
I cry for you………
Picking up the pieces of my heart
Now that we have fallen apart
I ache for you……….
It seems like only yesterday
That I heard you say
“I’m leaving you…..”
What happened to the love we had
I think about it and it makes me sad
But now all I can do
Is wait for you……

Looking at my Hand where the tan line use to be
Thoughts of you are still haunting me
I can feel you……
When I close my eyes in bed
Your right there in my head
I can see you……
It seems like a dream that didn’t last
You say your love for me has passed
But I need you…..
All I wanted was one more chance
I never wanted a lost romance
But now all I can do
Is dream of you……

I still hope you will call me on the phone
And I hear you say I’m coming home
I still love you……
You would mend my broken heart that day
And all the pain would go away
I bleed for you……
I don’t want too but I still know
I will have to let you go
I pray for you……..
You had been the best thing I had in my life
But now you’re no longer my wife
I just hope you can see
That I’m sorry…..
