The Diamond Of My Eye Poem by Carl Hohenberg

The Diamond Of My Eye

Twinkling stars at night
Light up the sky
How I wonder
if you can see them too…

Twinkling stars so bright
Dancing in the sky
How I wish that
I was watching them with you….

Like we did so long ago
On that hot September night
Holding on to each other
Kissing you Felt so right

Twinkling stars at night
Make me think of you
Now that you’re gone
That’s all I can do

We were friends that fell in love
And I made you my wife
Your an angel from above
you really touched life….

Twinkling stars at night
Way up in the sky
I fight the tears
But one escapes my eye

I will see you in my dreams
And you will see me too
As sad as it seems
I still love you
