In The Park Poem by Cody Klinker

In The Park

One day I took my son to the park,
But it was a so-so day and it was getting dark.
This did not seem to stop my child,
For the look of the playground made him go wild.
He was so innocent, his life had barely begun,
All he had to worry about was having tons of fun.
He went on the swings, the slide, and even the jungle gym,
Although it might not seem like much, it meant the world to him.
It was time to go, the boy noticeably getting tired,
This simple trip to the park had made me inspired.
Our trip was amazing, I didn't know what to say.
I wonder what kind of things we could do the next day?
