Is There A True Winner? Poem by Cody Klinker

Is There A True Winner?

War, a violent string of events.
Many pay the ultimate price for what
They believe to be right. All must
Lose, though, for the loss of lives is
Precious to the world. In war,
Is there truly a winner?
In America, we believe in equality
And those who fight for it. They
Know it is worth the price of death.
It all makes winning possible.
