Turning down the volume knob of the world
I went down into the garden of silence
With only the music of my heart for company
To be alone, where I could be all to myself
A pilgrimage into the world of the wordless
To let words mature within me in silence
Hearing nothing,
Seeing nothing
I was wrapped in the folds of silence
Light propelled out from hidden depths
As if from an overflowing well spring
I heard a single sound
Ommmmmmmmmnnnnnnn
The whirl of its rippling echo
Created ocean swells within me
In that divine moment
I felt merging with the omnipresent
And diving
Into the depths of fathomlessjoy!
The echoes of life! To be alone in the garden. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Sometimes loneliness is the source of unseen heavenly lights, a thoughtful poem.
A beautiful write that takes the reader on a meditative journey where the heart connects with the quietude n silence of inner self. And a connection with the spirit of the universe is instantly formed. A moment of solitude can turn into bliss if we shut ourselves to the external clamor and hear the divine voice speaking within our souls. A great write. A huge 10.
Om, the musical word of creation takes one to the fathomless depths of joy, captured so beautifully in the poem.

This poem was an experience in itself. Living vicariously through the host I felt as if I were the one being joyfully enveloped in silence. You could also say that this poem brings a whole new meaning to the saying silence is golden!
