In Old Age/ A Sudden Afternoon Happiness

IN OLD AGE/ A SUDDEN AFTERNOON HAPPINESS

In old age
A sudden afternoon happiness
No one needs me to be anywhere-
There is nothing to be guilty about
For not doing anything.

In old age
I can pretend to be retired
To have done
What I can do
To rest and enjoy.

Yet as I write this down
I feel without writing it
The whole of this day
Wasted.
