you have said it time again
I choose to see it otherwise
your confessions had force
like flames that torched a city
it burnt but no ashes flew
now what has changed?
why now without understanding
the path opens it mouth
flutters unfulfilled don't bother
the compulsion for collision
the broken stories leaving
the mouth craved too long
the body waited and wilted
the taste soon forgotten
others you join ranks off
soon like them barely remembered
just this time or every time
the song seemed to have a melody
yet to wait and watch no more
destiny wheel may halt or move
in no uncertain terms
you said it time and again
did you want me to listen
for now I have done so
hope you really meant it
cause now I listened
walked away as told
so lets not collide again
not this lifetime or another
releasing each other as you wished
in no uncertain terms
as you wished for
not to look back again
