In her eyes
he was the hero of heroes
he lifted her up
took away her sorrows

in her eyes
there was no one but him
he was the only one
the man of her dreams

in her eyes
he loved her
she was sure of it
no one can fit her better

but her eyes
they have deceived her
he was nothing but a lie
she was nothing but a stranger

now her heart
is battling with valour
to convince her eyes
that he is no more...
