Imaginations Poem by Samir Actuated

Imaginations

Rating: 5.0

She said to me conquer your fears
I wondered then
Her conviction seemed so right for her
A young strong girl is what I saw
Now that it is all a haze of marvel I understand
The leap from solitude to the world has me scattered
Where my fears grew and flourished
Eating from the truth before my eyes
The cruelty of possibilities of life
The illusion of power
The wait of victory
The inner strength in me
Closing one eye to the truth to make everything meaningless

Fear is a conglomeration of sinister shadows, and a shadow has no substance. That's why upon facing fear squarely, one usually finds it inconsequential. A thought provoking piece written with insight. Thanks for sharing Samir and do remain enriched.
